There is a discussion on the jumpingforfun website regarding Open races in Ireland, there experimenting with a few 2m 4 open races, i think there a great idea. Every area tends to have the odd 4 mile or 3m 4 race so why not put in one 2m 4 race throughout the season. A maiden and Restricted race at every meeting ( which i think is the case now). We have two intermediates during the season and there both at the end of the season why not have a few more and have a couple of early one's and one late. SE club races are well supported by us in the area and people out of the area so there a great idea. I do hope that our area will open up all maidens to 4 year olds as the new rule says any maiden can be open to 4yr olds other than 8 yr old and over maidens.
Mixed opens at both Easter meetings.
