I understand from the PPORA that our new Area Chairman Howard Jarvis received the much-coveted Cynthia Higgon PPSA Award for Outstanding Service to Point-to-Point Administration at the National Point-to-Point Awards ball in Stratford on Saturday night. The winner of this is kept secret until the last minute and I know there was some elaborate subterfuge organised to make sure he was there.
