I don't think the ground has changed that much over the years, it's just the fact that the South-East does not have the Yards of horses it used to.
You look back ten years and you had yards with 10 + from The Grissell's, The McCarthy's, The Silks, John Best's The Hacking's, The Hickman's and Anna Newton-Smith yard, all except two, are training under rules now.
Maybe some serious attention needs to be looked at the meetings that take place.
Does Peper Harow have a place in the South-East area calendar? Maybe it time it came under the Sandhurst Area.
