In short,nothing short of a disgrace,no wonder some of the old faces (punters) have decided to travel to some of the other points outside our area,this situation has been on the cards for the last couple of weeks with rumours flying around that the meeting could be in doubt,I hope they enjoy the insurance money and spent it wisely.
It must surely be time to start the season in the S.E. much earlier (december)this will attract plenty of runners from out of the area as well as supporters,just think a meeting on either boxing day or new years day would certainly bring the crowds flocking,in any case the committee MUST bring the season forward otherwise this situation we are experiencing year after year will only drive away the dwindling army of supporters that are still attending through thick and thin.
All that typing and it will probably fall on deaf ears and we will be in the same boat come next April,such is life arrrrrrrrrrrrrrh.
