Errrr....just to let secretaries know (and no doubt teach grandmothers how to suck eggs), owners and trainers start making plans to run their horses weeks before a meeting - and often enter more than one meeting on any weekend. Decisions on where to run depend entirely on early going reports and those meetings that post reports on a daily basis from early in the preceeding week, are the ones most likely to get the runners.
