Phil Sharp, a new permit trainer in Sussex, has created quite a media stir in recent weeks. According to reports he has 13 children by seven different “wives” and another two are on the way. He’ll have more than that to worry about as Sunday approaches, as he has three horses entered at Fontwell.
According to Marcus Armytage in today’s Daily Telegraph, Phil is a horse whisperer and a minister practising “Biblical Judaism”. One of his sons, Yoni, is to ride in point-to-points.
