Safety at Sea

I'm going on SAS this spring 02...I am extremely excited but also was just wondering how people that are going/have gone feel about safety abroad since Sept. 11th...is a huge ship loaded with Americans a slow-moving target? Those of you that have gone, did you always feel safe in-port? Thanks!
