Because of those who died in all our wars, you were able to cruise the world on a peaceful Hi all, Just wanted to post a thought for us in the USA. This past week saw some sparks flying on this board, and I want to remind you all that we are free to disagree, voice our opinions, argue, and even to insult each other because a lot of men and women died to preserve this privilege for us. We are in a free country today because of them and I hope we all take time out from our busy lives to remember their ultimate sacrifice on Memorial Day. My father was nineteen years old when he volunteered for W.W.II. He was one of the lucky ones. He came home. By age 23 he had served in Europe for four years of his young life. Many of his buddies did not return. It is on this day that we remember and honor those who did not come home from battle. Wave a little flag if only in your hearts and minds and salute the people who died in all the wars to preserve the freedoms we enjoy today. For all you in Canada, Sweden, Australia, UK and anywhere else this goes for you too even if you don't have your day of remembrance this weekend. Your veterans made the same sacrifices and deserve our adulation and respect on this day. Jean G. Kuhn

Hi all SAS alumni and families,
voyage of learning and enlightenment. Thank God for all those "citizen soldiers" who died for us when they were just the age that most of you were on your cruises.
