Internet cafes

I am going on SAS in spring 2003. I definitely want to keep in touch with family and friends while I am away. I am taking a digital camera so I can send pics home. Are there internet cafes in every port? How do you find them? Do they accept zip disks? Can I use a hotmail account (is that universal)? Would you recommend bringing a laptop or is the on-ship computer lab sufficient? Does the lab support zip disks? Any info on this would be great! (PS. this website has made my friend and I SO excited for our voyage, we almost want to skip next semester and go straight to the ship!) Thanks for all the info! ~Carie Lyn
