Hi, I want to locate information on the parents and Family of Eli THOMPSON, b. 1827 in VA. The Kentucky State Archives-Vital Statistics-Breathitt County Register lists Eli--aged 30; d. Sept. 15, 1858; married; farmer; residence North Fork; birthplace Ash Co., Va. Eli married Elizabeth "Betsy" RALEIGH b. 1834 in Breathitt County, Ky (around 1851) and they had sons, John, b. 15 Aug 1852 d. 13 Dec 1930 and Daniel b. 12 Jan 1856 d. 1927. Eli migrated from either Ashe, NC or VA to the Breathitt County, Ky area around the time he was 18. Thanks for anything you may have. McKinley Thompson
