Looking for info on William C. Hunter, born 1826-1828 in Pulaski Co., Ky married Nov. 1, 1854 Martha Tucker born 1828-29 in Tn. or ky. Had several children William born 1851, James T. born 1852, John F. born 1854 and Mary E. born 1858. They were in 1860 census, then children were farmed out in 1870 census. No trace of William C. or Martha. It is possible that Wm. Jr. was not Martha's or William C.'s son. He may have been taken in. There is a possibility that Martha or William C. could have been Indian also. William was supposed to have been Cherokee.
