First, it was the zone-blocking scheme. 4 years have been spent on drafting to this philosophy and we have seen its net effect on the offensive side of the ball. Now, we have switched to the 3 4 and our best defensive lineman is chasing people in the secondary and our corners are not doing what they do best which is bump and run. A J Hawk looks lost and we have started to jettison draft picks (Aaron Rouse) to adapt to this new defensive scheme. New Orleans and Denver switched defensive schemes, but pursued players in the off-season to assist in their conversion process. I am sure we will address our current concerns in the next draft. Oh well, next week could bring us a reversal of fortune.
