I am a newcomer to pipes and tobacco, having bought my briar last week. The first aromatic I bought? Borkum Riff Cherry Cavendish. Yes, it is that bad. But I'm not put off. I'll just buy some pipe tobacco next time, not cherry jam... with tobacco 'pieces' in it.
