I don't remember your original posting about this, but this one got me curious and so I did a search. Found the following info about the song that I think will be of interest.
Charted at #43 on Billboard Hot 100 in May 1956. Based on "E Flat Nocturne" by Chopin, and featured in the movie, "The Eddy Duchin Story". One of the most beautiful melodies of all time! Original Billboard review: "Strong indication is that the boys have another potent entry. It's the Chopin Nocturne theme used by the late Eddy Duchin and featured in the upcoming flick on the maestro, with a new lyric. The group sings it with fervor and the piano and orchestra backup gives an impressive helping hand."
Written by Morris Stoloff, George Sidney and Ned Washington.
Looked for this song years ago on the board without success but ran across it now. Theme song in a movie but I can't remember which.
