I bought a copy of The Skinners' School by Cecil Beeby & Philip Whitbourn, published by the Civic Society, by post, for my father, who was at the school from 1926-1931, under the second Headmaster, Lt Col W R G Bye. He was quite disappointed that it only contained information regarding the setting up of the school, and the newest building - nothing about the shooting butts and parade grounds which were an important part of his school days (he joined the RAF, becoming a champion shot). My father is 94 is January, but as we live in Yorkshire cannot travel back to Tunbridge Wells now. Is he one of your oldest old boys? He never joined the old boys association, but you may like to hear of one.
Best wishes.
