Dear Tim Neale,
Even though I was in the year below you, I certainly remember you - and the fact that you were a good bloke. I seem to remember that we were in school plays together (e.g. Antony and Cleopatra). I also remember Ashby, Dale, Havard and Kingswood (W.K.E., probably) - and some of the other names ring bells.
I am now 71, with arthritic knees but otherwise surviving - living in Oxford, where I worked for the OUP writing dictionaries for 30 years. I have written three books about wordgames and play the drums in various jazz groups. If you want to see one of my recent ventures, log on to YouTube and search for "Gerry Hatrick" - but, be warned, it's appalling! My other internet projects include setting a weekly quiz for the xrefer website (www.xrefer.com where you can sign up to be emailed the weekly brainteaser) and reviewing jazz albums for the MusicWeb site (www.musicweb-international.com/jazz/index.2007.html). Best wishes to all Old Skinners reading this.
