Hello Dennis
Laurie Buckingham rings a bell. I'll ring another Wadhurst farmer who I used to pay rugby with at TRFC back in the '50s/'60s.
Met Jim Richardson at a funeral a couple of weeks ago (seem to meet more old acquaintances these days at the crem than anywhere else). We both used to play cricket for TWCC, again back in the '50s and '60s.
Other members of the 1950 School XI that I have occasionally bumped into are: Dick Avon who has survived lung cancer as far as I am aware; Dave Perry who now lives at Seaford; Molly Mears is still around, I think; Alan Beecher has turned out to be a distant relative. Brian Lazell, you may know, I see occasionally but he has had a pretty bad stroke but typically fights its effects like hell.
I see they have a spell check facility on this. Is it for us old fogeys, as you refer to us, or is it for the younger Old Boys?
Best wishes
Colin
