Can it really be nearly 19 years since I left Skinners'? Well, a lot has happened. In addition to gaining my best ever bowling analysis (7-5-2-0 thanks to a king-sized hangover that definitely helped my inswinging yorker!), I have now been teaching Modern Foreign Languages since 1994. I currently work in a small comprehensive school in Herefordshire, which is an idyllic setting, although the distance from mainland Europe has a certain effect on the willingness of Herefordshire children to learn languages!
