I am sure that there are not too many people who might remember me as I left School in 1959 and went to work in Television in England then over to Europe in 1962, and at the end of 1965 I emigrated with my wife and daughter to the USA where I have spent the past 40 years working againb working in Television, 33 years at the CBS Television Network, and the past 5 years at PGA TOUR Productions here in Florida.
As you might expect I love this country and would never leave except for vacation purposes.
My good friends at the time of leaving School were John Withey, Ernie Thomas, and Pete
Stansbury, if any one who reads this e-mail and might know of their whereabouts I would be very grateful if they could forward me details of their location.
None of us are getting that much younger and we will all be 65 in 2006, but it would be very neat to take a trip to England or to where ever they live to get together, and to relive the old days, and memories associated with growing up and going to School in Royal Tunbridge Wells.
I guess that's what old farts like us are all about.
I still maintain contact with Michael Lillicrap
late of Sebastian house, and if memory serves me correctly Withey like me was in Atwell, Stanbury in Knott, and Thomas in Sebastian.
So guys and girls if anyone knows about my childhood friends and can afford me a link please do not hold back.
Many Thanks
Bob Brown
At School from 1952 until 1959.
