have forgiven Dan yet, but it wasn't until Season 6 where Dan was kidnapped by Crazy Nanny Carrie that Dan actually began a Grandpa-Grandson relationship with Jamie. Something which Lucas didn't understand. Despite Nathan saying stay away from my family, it was really Lucas that was more adamant about that. Lucas really never considered Dan his father, so I think despite Dan not being forgiven by Nathan, Nathan feels that Dan has changed and for whatever reason should know his grandchildren. While I don't think giving him the picture and the baseball is an invitation to re-enter their lives.. at least Dan knows Nathan is thinking of him.. and not in a bad way. Is it the resolution to Dan and Nathan's relationship we were looking for? Perhaps not for some, but I'm content with it. However, IF Paul/Dan returns to Tree Hill for Season 9, I'd be interested to see if Nathan will finally forgive Dan and/or allow Dan to see Jamie again. I kinda miss that dynamic.
