Funny, yesterday I had lunch with my friend Nick Cassavetes. Terrific screenplay writer and great director. I was explaining how I spend the first half of my writing sessions re-reading the previous days work and then go on. He told me to stop doing that and just finish when you know what comes next so the next time you know where to start. Writing is re writing he said. Just get the thought out and comeback once you've reached the end and tweak it. You need to get it out in the first draft so the momentum doesn't fizzle. I like this. Its been working. Best of luck. Why not post some of it on here. You'll get some useful feedback I'm sure! PJ
