Npcs and map edges are rather bugy, though recent updates have fixed some of the problems. James said he was going to rewrite the whole wrapping code sometime, but until them, I would find an alternative. Either use animated maptiles, animated backdrop, or mak the map very long (and if necessary, get a script to move the npc and camera back to the start so it doesn't run into the end)
: My intro scene goes like this:
: There is a one-screen map of a space scene. The
: maptiles are set to wrap. There is an NPC in the
: middle which the camera follows. He is going left.
: This creates an illusion of the background
: "space" passing right. The problem is that
: when the npc hits the leftmost spot of the map, he
: turns around the other way. How do I get the NPC to
: stop doing this and wrap around the map?
