Hey Ne'Liyah! I'm so glad you've enjoyed the books! As to your own writing, a few things to keep in mind:
1) Age doesn't matter. Christopher Paolini was a teenager when he wrote Eragon. There are other examples, but that's a recent one that pops into my head.
2) Quality DOES matter. If you think your writing is cliched, ask yourself what you can change. The way a sentence is phrased? Something predictable in the plot? Then focus on making those changes.
3) Check out the FAQ page on my site. I have a whole section called "Questions About Writing" that you might find useful.
