FINALLY back....

Hey all! Sorry to be MIA lately, but I was in New York City for a big yearly event called "Book Expo." It's a huge convention for everyone in publishing--editors, agents, librarians, publishers, authors, you name it. I got to see Marcus Zusak speak (awesome Aussie accent) and learned from Mo Willems how to draw a pigeon. (He writes picture books for kids, including "Don't Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus.")
I also signed a TON of books for librarians and booksellers. During one signing, my table was next to the Rain Man (yes, the guy the movie is based on) and the other time, I was next to Ridley Pearson. Nifty, huh? I had my pic taken with Ridley Pearson and will get that up on my MySpace and LiveJournal blogs soon.
Glad to see so much traffic here, AND that most boyfriend emergencies ended up happily. (And trust me, sometimes discovering that the guy DOESN'T like you is the best thing that can happen. Consider it a free ticket to find someone much better!!)
