Some of my books are a little more risque than others. I know some parents object to Sticky Fingers--it's really for older teens. And other parents object to the Valerie books because of Val's mom's sexual orientation. If it's Sticky Fingers, wait a few years and talk to your mom about it again. If it's the Val books, I'm afraid I can't help you with that one. It's really up to parents--not me--to determine what's okay and what's not for their family. That being said, you might want to give your mom a copy of Scary Beautiful to try. I have a feeling she'll let you read that one. Good luck!! --Previous Message--
