Posted by Brooke Yeah, I found "Do-Over". I. could. NOT. put. it. down. Daling darling Niki, you. are. a. goddess. Honestly, I had given up on teen romance novels (I have seen too many trashy unoriginal plot lines), and on a whim a few months ago I picked up "Royally Jacked". And became immedediatly hooked. I mean it. I went to three book stores SEARCHING for "Spin Control". And today on a whim, I found "Do-Over". My bad day gone good. But honestly Niki, your stories, while slightly fictional, have such a down-to-earth tone that any girl could think that it could ACTUALLY happen to her. And that's why I love this series. Val is the 'girl-next-door' type that we all know, who goes through a diaster in her life (divorce in her case), and makes a tough choice. And she tries to start her life over again (in a new COUNTRY!) and comething good comes out of it (uh, Georg is a great thing). But then Val is just still that down-to-earth girl, and not one stuck up brat. She thinks Orlando Bloom's hot, she loves fast food, and she just loves her man. And thank you for showing us that Niki. We're seeing some story that promotes a normal girl. Not some insane druggy, or pregnant teen, just a normal girl falling in love and dealing with life. You're voice in this story is amazing too. It makes Val come alive that some stories just don't make happen. You don't sit there and describe the castle for three pages; you sit there and describe Val's personality through 230-ish pages. And thank God for that. I can only take so much, "The wind whistled through the trees like a wolf howling at the moon at midnight". Ugh. One question though, can Georg make a mistake once. You know, slip up? I mean in "Do-Over", we actually saw the two get in a fight, which kinda signifies a bit more of a natural relationship. (People can argue the 'cool down' bit, but that was Val misunderstanding Georg). If you write another book, I'd love to see them 'fight'. And in that bit, I could see Val falling apart, and seriously considering moving back. A bit more drama, a bit more gut-renching heartache, and a good heartwarming scene at the end. Or not. Awesome job writing the series, I love it and it's getting up there next to Grey's Anatomy on my 'guilty pleasure' list. That's how good your books are. Please keep up the awesome job. And I'm more than willing to act in any movie made off the series (wink wink nudge nudge - JOKING!-)

Guess what I've been doing for the past few hours, instead of my homework?![]()
It's your story/series. I'd just love to see another book. Pretty please?
