Hello. I'm a nail student at Blaine. We are learning how to do acrylic tips, sculptures and gels. I am very confused about this whole acrylic process..it looks so easy when watching it be done,,but it seems so difficult to me,,and it doesnt help any that my teacher isnt that great.
Anyhow we are using OPI orderless acrylic. What I dont understand is no matter how much I prep my nail,,take all the dead skin off,,use bond aid and bond ex,, within 2 days its already lifting. Why is this happening,,is it the acrylic we're using? Its happening to everyone,,not just me,,and when we ask our teacher she says "well you need a fill" or "you didnt take off all the dead skin" even though we did...Is there any websites I can go to that will take me step by step through this whole process??
I am in desperate need of help..I only have 15 days left before graduating and I feel like I how am I going to get a job when I'm just going to ruin peoples nails?!
