I know that the middle of the season is not the most ideal timing, but that speaks volumes on why I need to make this difficult decision to step away. I have truly loved my 14 years in this position and will continue to promote and support NSA softball.
I want to thank all the past and present coaches, players, umpires, parks, and UIC's that I've had the pleasure of getting to know over the years. You are why I love this game of softball.
I want to say thank you to Jim Kimmel, my mentor and boss. You've opened many doors for me, and I am proud to have worked with you and what we've accomplished together in this game. There's more to do. I'm sure I'll still be your sounding board and will be excited to see what Indiana NSA will do.
No doubt I will make an occasional appearance at the parks around and watch some softball #thensaway.
Thank you, NSA home office staff, and Zina for all the help and support you've given me.
Thank you, Bill Horton, the leader of this circus life. Your support of me and vision for NSA is 2nd to none. I'll always be NSA's #1 fan. Give me a tuba, and I'll join the band until the ship sinks.
Thank you all and good luck this season playing the game we all love.
