I do not know who John's parents were.William and Frederick were primarily farmers.Their siblings were: Mary, Elizabeth, Frankey, Cherry, Jackey, Samefield, Parker, Nathaniel, and John Jr. My line of Leonards came from Gravesend, England in 1635 aboard the ship "The Assurance" directly to the port of Jamestown, Virginia. From Jamestown, they came by land to Franklin co sometimes between 1760 and 1766.None of my ancestors came from any other area, that I know of. Sorry, but I hope this helps
