There were several Frederick Leonards. I have not researched the others, but will give you those to whom I have researched and from whom I descend.
Frederick Leonard Sr. was my great great great
Grandfather born 1767 in Bute {now Franklin} county.He had a brother William, born in Prince George county, Virginia in 1760. Their dad was
John Leonard, born around 1740. He moved to Franklin co between 1760 and 1766and paid tax in 1766. Frederick's wife was Elizabeth Westray. He also had a son named Frederick jr born 15 April, 1811. Hope this helps.
