We may both go back to the Revolutionary War Soldier, Douglas Carroll? I belong to the Sons of the American Revolution through another line, and am always eager to correspond with others about those old soldiers.

I'm a descendant of Elizabeth (Betsy) Carroll and her husband, William Williams. I believe Elizabeth Carroll was born c. 1803 in Georgia, and is connected to your line somehow. Elizabeth married Mr. Williams in Madison Co., Alabama on 20 December, 1821. During this same time in Madison Co., Alabama, there were other, related Carrolls: James Carroll, Charles Carroll, John D. Carroll, Richmond H. Carroll, and Thomas Carroll, all of whom married in Madison Co., Alabama between the years of 1814 and 1822.
