What time period are you researching? My family left Granville County, NC around 1850-1851 and moved to western Kentucky. They had originally come to NC from Virginia in about 1750-1752. I am particularly interested in the period from 1750 to about 1820 (My ggg-grandfather, Ransom Dickerson Jr., was born 20 OCT 1816 in Granville Co. and my line is well established from that point forward).
