I've been trying to research my family tree and I suppose you know how difficult that can get! I
found on the 1900 Census that my gg Grandfather, JOSEPH DANSBY, is listed as coming from
North Carolina. That entry was made by his son Christopher Columbus Dansby (b: 1877)
I suppose JOSEPH DANSBY was born in the 1850's, based on his son's date of birth. His son
was born in Texas, so JOSEPH DANSBY moved from North Carolina at some point. The only
other information I have on JOSEPH DANSBY is that he married a Melvina E. Scroggins.
Any information you come across would be gratefuly accepted, even negative information!
