I saw where you were looking for a Mary Green.I am doing research on the Stone Family of Halifax-Franklin Counties prior to 1763. In my research I found a William Stone-2, who was the son or grandson of William Stone and Elizabeth Roberson-Stone of Virginia in Richmond Co., Va. In searching out the rest of the children that would be brothers and sisters to William Stone-2 he had a sister, Judith Stone that married a Henry Green of Richmond County. William Stone-2 moved into the area of Halifax County along the Manatock River in North Carolina. He probably came before Halifax was established from Bute County. I was wondering if maybe the set of Green's that you seek and this set I found could be related. It may have been that Henry and Judith Stone- Green moved to North Carolina with her brother William. William was the younger of all the children and Judith was about the fourth that was born to William Stone and his wife of Virginia. Would you have any knowledge of this Green family from Virginia
