I am researching my family and have run into a couple of hurdles. My great,great grandfather/mother were Matthew Thomas Arnold b.1837 and Margaret Horton. They married 2 Jan 1860 in Franklin Co., N.C. and had a son Alex Pettigrew Arnold(not sure about if had other sibling) who was married to Baddie Susan Pearce.
