Kickdown cable and TV cable... Posted by FriscoSteve on 10/12/2009, 2:04 pm 68.94.31.205 Are these one in the same? The TV cable attaches to the actual throttle body. Seems like a lot of people use the same words (kickdown and TV) interchangably. Are they in fact the same or different? I have the 5.0 EFI and AOD in my '66. I am trying to find the kickdown cable for the EFI and seems like all I come up with is carb versions.  Post an Intelligent Response

Same thing...TV cable controls shift and kick-down. Adjust it right.
