I was talking about ALL, automatic overdrive transmissions in general. Vs T5 or for that matter any 5 speed manual trans...From an all around performance stand point YOU JUST CAN"T BEAT AH STICK!..You tell it to launch AND shift at whatever RPM you want. Rather then it dictating for you or worse being limited by a torque converter.. Or having a HP loss & weight penalty. The only way to make a automatic trans perform, is to make it a full race unit which then makes it useless as a street trans. Ah stick will drive how you drive..period..or two
