I just run the car plan old hard. I run it on the interstate at 75/80 if I can get away with it. I've ran the car at the drag strip once but I would like to go again. I want to run the car on a track as well some day. Mainly though I just drive the car to work, to the mall. I run it hard at the green lights. Some times a run around the lake on those nice mornings. Will I take it on a bash type trip? YES I WOULD. So it needs to be a all around type car. HP estimates are maybe 250 ish. I have a '95 5.0 in the car with a 600 edlebrock carb, dual exhaust with long tube headers, electronic ignition, K&N air filter, 3 row copper rad, electric fan.. Just bolt ons. So the HP isn't really a factor. I wouldn't hesitate at doing a Toploader if I could get everything in one purchase and it was with in my budget. So to sum that up, easy and cheap = yes. Now if I had a pile of money I'd do the AOD with new rear gears. So Lots Of Money = AOD. So with budget being what it is, I'll probably just rebuild the C4, but I'll want something else. This just isn't ideal timing.
