I understand the engines better
5.0, 4.9s are still plentiful and donor mills are every where
I'd do a 92/96
I'm with loosenut though, I don't know what I want to do. I just know I am done with straight axles.
I just know I need a truck for sidework/backup. I'd love to have one that would make it to my dad's in Traverse City 5 hrs away. My stang is still to project-y. I am tempted to sell it and parlay the cash into a better modern truck. Or buy a beater truck and sell the stang and get a better DD car, Or ...
Ill figure it out eventually.
