Distribution/Proportioning Valve Question

Mach1 Owner Since 1978

I have a 70 Mach1, originally a Front Disc, Rear Drum car. I upgraded to ALL Discs. I thought I read somewhere I shut GUT that Dist Block and use an inline Adj. Prop. Valve. Is this correct?

The OLDER I get, the FASTER I was.....
