After reading all the posts about accelerator pump issues, one major step your not aware of.
Even if the acc. pump is good and adjusted correctly the acc. circuit must be primed and ready to deliver fuel every time . Most carburetors have a check ball to keep fuel ready to deliver. If this check ball does not keep fuel ready to deliver the fuel level in the acc. circuit drops down to level in bowl thus a hesitation especially first pump until acc circuit passages are full of fuel. After a few moments the acc. circuit fuel drops down to bowl level and no acc first pump. Hopes this makes sense.
