Car Runs Good, but gasps when stomped on

98.64.121.136

1968, 289, 4 barrel, headers
The car is running good, starts instantly, idles nice, accelerates smooth, sounds great, but GOOSE the gas a little and it hesitates, sneezes out the carb, almost quits and needs a couple quick pumps of the gas to keep it going and get it to catch and take off, then it hauls....
Just got new plugs, will put em in tomorrow or sat.
Where do I start..????
