Mustang owner since 1974
I got the turn signals working. Its the simple things in life that make life great!
Thanks to Dablack for the extra tilt steering column that had a good switch in it. The truck has a tilt column in it already but the turn signals would not "catch" when actuated. I pulled the switch from the column I got from him and installed it. Minor PITA to redo the wires in the plug, but now it works well. Now I have an extra tilt column for an F-100/F-150 I can sell, but it will have a inop turn signal switch in it.
Also got the new radiator installed so it no longer looks like Niagara Falls whenever I park.
Steering box adjustment is needed, but I hate tinkering with that stuff. PO put a later model power steering box in it, and it is a little loose. I hope to replace it with a R&P later anyway. I plan on doing the 03+ Crown Vic crossmember swapola.
