I think we are ready to put in the 302 that we have built. Looking at changing out next week. It's a 1966 coupe 289/c4 going to 79 302 roller keeping c4.
I have a couple of questions.
1. Motor Mounts. Is there anything special I need to know about the motor mounts. O'Reilly
says there are 2 styles of mounts but they carry
both in stock but they say there is a cradle. Can I use cradle from the 289?
2. We also have the long tube headers and Flowmasters. Should I go ahead and get the headers and exhaust ran with the 289 then swap motor or put headers on new motor and put in at the same time. Then take down and have the exhaust attached.
