Dropped in to let you all know that we're going to start the nomination period next weekend (Feb 9-10) starting with the Fan Fiction division. Azmom has turned in her eligibility list, so if you wanna head to the group early ( http://groups.yahoo.com/group/TCfandomawards/ ) and check it out, please do. I remind you that just because something is not on that list, doesn't mean it can't be nominated. Just make sure that something not listed is A ) eligible according to the rules (look them up - they're at the group) and B ) you leave us a link so that we can varify its eligibility. Otherwise, the nom will be disqualified. Or let us know ahead of time something was left off the list, and we'll amend the list. Works either way.
There are lots of documents and posts that should help you figure out what's going on at the group. I will also be posting a quick reminder about the nomination process and etiquette closer to the weekend at the group. If you have any questions, please post them at the group, not here. Thanks.
Nominations for fic will last about a week. From that past, that seems like adequate time for everyone who wants to participate to have their say. Too long, and the awards seem to drag and people lose interest along with the fact that we get nomination overload if it goes too long, defeating the purpose of narrowing the field - not to mention we're a bit behind schedule already 
Fan Art and Fan Site divisions will be up for nominations in the near future, so as they say in this bizz, 'stay tuned'
