I was pleasantly surprised to find adequate coverage with decent snow quality. I'd say it was a notch above typical Spring snow with lots of untracked stuff inviting geeky snowplow turns through the trees and a few wipeouts. The trail was completely covered from the gate on up to the top. Thanks to Joel for the encouraging report from 3/8.  Post a Response

It's very easy going and controllable now, really about as good as it gets as far as that goes. I stayed on the north/northeast side of the top parking lot in the area of the Northridge and Meadow trails. Came back up the Northridge Trail to parking lot maybe 1/2 - 3/4 mile and there was only one bare spot on the trail. Better hit it soon though.  Post a Response
