Hello,
I'm new to LA area and I used to be a cross-country skier. I would like to remain a skier even here, although it will be difficult. So, I'm wondering what kind of trails do you have on Mt. Pinos? Are they just for backcountry? What kind of skis do you use? (I used to train and compete on groomed trails, so I have only race skis). Is there any way to do some training for competitive xc-skiing on Mt.Pinos? Or I should go Nordic Rim and Green Valley xc-skiing areas next to Big Bear? Btw, what can you say about those places?
Thank you.
