As of late afternoon 3/11 there are still 6 to 10 or 12 inches of hard pack left, with a soft layer of corn snow on top. It's very easy going and controllable now, really about as good as it gets as far as that goes.
I stayed on the north/northeast side of the top parking lot in the area of the Northridge and Meadow trails. Came back up the Northridge Trail to parking lot maybe 1/2 - 3/4 mile and there was only one bare spot on the trail. Better hit it soon though.
