Well, the dry fluffy powder of last week is now an ass-busting crusty hardpack. It was consistently so from the top parking lot to the Northridge Trail to the Meadow Trail north and then bushwhacking east to the Northridge Trail farther down for the return. The skis certainly run well on that surface but you have to set the hardest edge to have any control.
