Jack - I suspect you're just baiting us ski patrollers, so I'll take your comments with a smiling grain of salt. You are correct that the ski patrol at Mt. Pinos has no legal authority to tell anyone what to do. We are there for public safety and as an information source. We are all volunteers, and we like to think we're comrades with folks like you who also love the winter outdoors.
If you have a specific complaint about ski patrollers, I'd be glad to listen. I'm the Patrol Director and could address your concerns.
